Free cooling from outside air

The exchanger recovers heat, which is exactly wrong on a warm summer night — so the unit routes supply air around it instead of through it. The dashboard says Bypass open while that lasts. Smart climate decides when: night cooling opens it once the outdoor air is cooler than indoors, and the heat shield keeps it shut when opening would only bring heat in.
