Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Ventaurio mobile app and this website. Ventaurio is provided by VENTAURIO Dzianis Rybnikau, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland; full details are on the legal page. By installing or using the app you accept these terms.

What you get

A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you own or control, for as long as these terms are respected. The app itself stays ours. You may not resell it, rent it out or present it as your own; you may not work around technical restrictions or take the software apart, except where the law says you may regardless of what a contract states.

Free and Pro

The free version is a working app, not a trial. Pro unlocks additional features and is sold through the App Store and Google Play at the prices shown at the moment of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account; a lifetime purchase is a one-off payment. We never see or handle your payment details, and we cannot issue refunds — those go through the store that took the payment (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play: Play Store → account → Payments & subscriptions). Statutory withdrawal rights for digital content are handled by the store at the point of sale. Prices and the split between free and Pro may change for the future; anything already bought keeps the terms it was bought under.

Your equipment, accounts and keys

The app talks to hardware and services that are not ours: your ventilation unit, smart meters and plugs, manufacturer clouds, and — if you enable AI features — an AI provider under your own API key. You are responsible for those accounts, for the costs they incur, and for complying with their terms. If they change or withdraw an interface, features that depend on it can stop working, and that is not a defect we can undertake to fix.

This is not a safety system

Ventaurio is a convenience tool for monitoring and adjusting ventilation. It is not a fire, gas, air-quality or life-safety system, and must not be relied on as one. The unit's own controls and the manufacturer's instructions always take precedence. Automations, schedules and AI suggestions are proposals that you approve and remain responsible for; measured figures for airflow, energy and savings are estimates whose accuracy depends on your settings and the hardware, and they are not a basis for billing or for safety decisions.

Availability

The app runs on your device and on your local network; we operate no servers for it, so there is no uptime we could promise or fail. We may change or discontinue features between versions. Nothing here prevents you from continuing to use a version you have already installed.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data or lost savings, or for damage caused by your equipment, your network or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited — including liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence — and nothing affects the mandatory consumer rights of the country you live in.

Independence

Ventaurio is an independent app, not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Vallox Oy or any other manufacturer. Brand names identify compatible devices only.

Changes, law and contact

If these terms change materially, the app will say so before the change takes effect. Polish law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence, and to your right to bring proceedings there. Questions: [email protected].
