Ventaurio — your heat-recovery ventilation, finally with a great app.
Ventaurio is an iPhone and Android app that monitors and controls home heat-recovery ventilation units. It talks to your unit over your own network — no vendor cloud required — and shows what it never told you: how much heat it actually recovers, what that is worth in euros, when the air goes stale, and when the filters genuinely need changing.

What Ventaurio is
Ventaurio is a mobile app, in open beta on both iPhone and Android. Either one connects over your own home network to a heat-recovery ventilation unit (HRV/MVHR) — Vallox, Vents/Blauberg, Enervent, Komfovent, Pluggit, Systemair or Helios — and to smart power meters and plugs.
- No servers of oursYour ventilation data is read on your network and stored on your phone. There is no Ventaurio backend to leak.
- AI on your own keyThe AI features use an API key you provide. Requests go from your phone straight to your provider — we are not in the middle.
- No ads, no data salesThe app is paid for by the people who use it. That is the entire business model.

What it actually does
Not another remote control with a fan slider.
Real money, not percentages
The recovered heat valued against your electricity price, with day and night tariffs. You see what the machine earned today.

Your house, room by room
Describe the rooms once — area, ducts, which way the air goes. The app draws your house from them, splits the live airflow between them and names the room that is not getting its share.

Live dashboard
Temperatures, CO₂, humidity, fan speed and power draw — read straight from the unit, updated continuously.

Smart scenarios
Night cooling, heat shield, frost guard and geofencing. The unit reacts to weather and to whether anyone is home.

The unit's own clock, from your phone
Its weekly schedule and its timer, read out of the machine and written back to it — so the programme runs whether or not the app is open, on the unit's own hardware.

Air quality, with a limit you set
Humidity and CO₂ control switched on per profile, against one limit for the whole machine. Away can watch the air while At home leaves it alone.

At home over Wi-Fi, away over the cloud
The unit answers on your own network at home and through the manufacturer's cloud when you are not. Which one leads is your choice; the other stays as the fallback.

Weekly programme with an AI optimizer
Suggests a schedule from the forecast, your CO₂ history and the household's rhythm. You approve it — it never changes things behind your back.

Power metering
Pair a Shelly, Tasmota, TP-Link, ESPHome or FRITZ! plug and the savings maths stops being an estimate.

It takes on the hour
Nineteen pieces of art to put behind the app, and four of them move with the sun: the lit valley through the day, the moonlit one from two hours after sunset until an hour before sunrise. The picture drifts sideways as you move between tabs, and the cards become glass over it as far as you want them to.

Widgets, Siri, Apple Watch
Home-screen widgets — each pinned to a unit you choose, and able to plot the day — voice shortcuts, and a native watch app with complications. A morning and an evening summary arrive at times you set, with that day's chart drawn into them. Boost without unlocking the phone.

The tour the app opens with, in six pictures — swipe.
Works with your unit
Over the local network. Vendor clouds are supported but never required.
Pricing
Free is a usable app, not a demo. Pro starts with a three-day free trial on the yearly plan, and cancelling leaves every reading and statistic on your phone. There is a monthly plan at €1.99 if you would rather not commit.

Questions people actually ask
Can I try it now?
Yes — the beta is open on both platforms and free while it runs: TestFlight on iPhone, and on Android an APK from the link, installed without the Play Store. It needs a compatible unit on your home network: without one there is nothing for the app to show, so join only if you have the hardware.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. The app talks to your unit over your home network. A cloud account is optional and only useful if you want history while the app is closed, or control from outside the house.
My unit is not on the list. Will it work?
Probably not yet, and we would rather say so than sell you a maybe. Write to us with the model — most units speak Modbus TCP, and adding an adapter is a fortnight of work when there is someone to test it with.
What does the AI actually do?
It reads your ventilation statistics and suggests a weekly schedule and threshold changes. It never applies anything on its own — you see the proposal and approve it. It runs on an API key you supply, so it costs us nothing and we never see the requests.
Are you affiliated with Vallox or the other manufacturers?
No. Ventaurio is independent. Brand names appear only to identify which devices the app is compatible with.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
It stays on your phone, because that is where it always was. Pro features stop; nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage.
Filtaurio — every filter in the house
Filtaurio is our second app. It tracks every filter you own — ventilation, air conditioners, range hoods, purifiers, water lines — and tells you when each one is due, on the same local-first terms as Ventaurio. From the filter card here, “Plan in Filtaurio” hands over your unit's model and its dates in a single link and nothing else.

Be there on day one
One message when it reaches the App Store, and one more if your unit's brand gets support before that. Nothing else, ever.
Your address goes to our mailbox and nowhere else — no mailing platform, no tracking pixels, no list anyone can buy.
