Backup and restore
Everything lives in a database on this device. Export writes a .ftbak file you can keep anywhere; with Google backup on, the same file goes into the hidden app folder of your own Drive, which no other app can read. Restoring merges rather than overwrites, so a unit you added on the new phone survives.
